Journal of Natural Fibre Polymer Composites (JNFPC)
PUBLICATION ETHICS
The JNFPC is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all aspects of publication. The journal follows the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure integrity and transparency in research and scholarly publishing.

1. Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship should be restricted to those who have made a significant contribution to the research, including its design, execution, or interpretation.
All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship may be acknowledged in a separate section.

2. Complaints and Appeals
Authors and readers can report complaints related to editorial decisions, peer review processes, or ethical concerns by contacting the journal via email (jnfpc.ppiem@gmail.com).
Appeals against editorial decisions must include a detailed explanation and supporting evidence. An independent committee will review appeals to ensure fairness.

3. Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Editors and reviewers will recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.

4. Data Sharing and Reproducibility
Authors are encouraged to make research data publicly available to enhance transparency and reproducibility.
Manuscripts must include sufficient methodological details to allow other researchers to replicate the study.

5. Ethical Oversight
The journal ensures ethical oversight through adherence to COPE principles and regular audits of published content.

6. Intellectual Property
All submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will not be tolerated.
Authors retain copyright but grant the journal a license to publish the work under the journal’s licensing terms.

7. Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections
Corrections, retractions, or editorial notes will be issued if errors are identified in published articles.
Readers are invited to provide feedback or raise concerns about published articles through the journal’s official email. All feedback will be reviewed by the editorial team.
