Ethics and Malpractice Policy
The JNFPC is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all cases of research misconduct seriously. Our policies align with the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Identification and Prevention of Research Misconduct
JNFPC uses plagiarism detection tools to screen all submitted manuscripts.
Editors and reviewers are trained to identify signs of plagiarism, data falsification, citation manipulation, or other misconduct.

2. Dealing with Allegations of Misconduct
In the event of an allegation of research misconduct:
• Initial Assessment: The editorial board conducts a preliminary investigation to validate the claim.
• Notification: The corresponding author and other involved parties will be informed and given an opportunity to respond.
• Evidence Review: Authors may be asked to provide supporting data or explanations.
• Resolution: The editorial board will make a decision and determine corrective actions.

3. Corrective Actions
If misconduct is confirmed:
• The article will be retracted, and a notice of retraction will be published.
• Corrections or editorial notes may be issued, as appropriate.
• The author’s institution or funding agency may be notified.

4. Confidentiality and Transparency
All investigations are handled confidentially to protect the integrity of the process.
The journal will transparently communicate the outcome of the investigation.

5. Commitment to Ethical Practices
We expect all authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold ethical standards in research and publication.
